Jean has a background in photography and darkroom techniques from Rhode Island School of Design, and many years of recreational photography. Some of her recent images have been published in Vermont Life Magazines, their calendars and recent book, The Twelve Seasons of Vermont, featuring Vermont landscapes and people at work. More of her color and black and white work can be seen by visiting her studio. Most of her photographs can be purchased as professional quality prints in a variety of sizes, custom matted with archival materials. Custom framing is also available. In addition, some images are available as Giclee prints on 100% cotton fine art paper, up to 16” x 24”.
One of Jean’s sepia photographs won a juror’s award in a national exhibition at the Attleboro Museum Center for the Arts, (Attleboro, MA). A color photograph was chosen as a winner in Popular Photography and Imaging Magazine’s annual International Photography Competition in the category of “Sports and Action”, one of forty chosen out of over 10,000 entries.
The collection shown here is from Vermont Life publications. Other collections include horticultural subjects and landscapes in color and black and white. Contact Jean to purchase prints or make an appointment to visit her studio.
